Lowest published toxic dose

In toxicology, the TD_Lo (Toxic Dose Low) is the lowest dosageper unit of bodyweight (typically stated in milligramsper kilogram) of a substanceknown to have produced signs of toxicityin a particular animalspecies. When quoting an TD_Lo, the particular species and method of administration (e.g. ingested, inhaled, intravenous) are typically stated.
