Yellow tea usually implies a special tea processed similarly to green tea, but with a slower drying phase. It can however describe high-quality teasserved at the Imperial court, but this is not discussed in the article. The tea generally has a very yellow-green appearance and a smell different to both White teaand Green tea, but similarities in taste and smell can still be drawn between Yellow, Greenand Whiteteas.
