Stomach ache is a non-medical term used to describe various forms of nauseaor abdominal pain. Although stomach pain could be an underlying cause of a serious disease, it is usually caused by a need to use the toliet, or strangely enough, by air being trapped in while eating, causing trapped gas that can cause pain.

A stomachache can be a symptomof many different maladies:
- from food poisoning
- peptic ulcers
- typhoid fever
- Hepatitis A
- Ulcerative colitisor Crohn's disease
