Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a centre of excellence for surgicaleducation and research traces its origins to 1505when the Barber Surgeons of Edinburgh were formally incorporated as a Craft Guildof Edinburgh, and granted a royal charterin 1506by King James IVof Scotland.
