Asthenopia is an ophthalmologicalcondition that manifests itself through unspecific symptomssuch as fatigue, eye strain, pain in or around the eyes, blurred vision, headacheand occasional double vision. Symptoms often occur after reading, computer work, or other activities that involve tedious visual tasks. Sometimes, asthenopia can be traced back to specific eye problems, such as uncorrected refraction errorsor heterophoria.
