Pleuropulmonary blastoma
Pleuropulmonary blastoma is a rare form of cancerfirst reported in 1988. It is commonly found in children. Symptoms may include coughing, an upper respiratory tract infection, shortness of breath, and chest pain.
Types
There are 3 types of PPB -->
- Type I show a multicystic lesion;
- Type II shows thickening areas (nodules) within this cystic lesion;
- Type III shows solid masses.
