Intergroup Rhabdomyosarcoma Study Group
The Intergroup Rhabdomyosarcoma Study Group (IRS) was a cooperative group formed to study and to advance the treatment of rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancerof the musclesthat primarily affects children. In 2000, the IRS merged with several other pediatric oncology groups to form the Children's Oncology Group.
