Artificial organ

An artificial organ is a man-made organ that is implanted in a human to replace a natural organ. Below is a list of artificial organs that have been successfully implanted in humans:

• Artificial cardia
• Artificial eye. Actually a camerawith an implant on the optic nerve. Only very partial functionality
• Artificial ear
• Artificial heart
