WRBH-FM
WRBH-FM is a non-commercial radiooutlet in New Orleans, Louisianathat provides programming for the blind and handicapped, one of two stations in the United Statesthat offer this service. The station's owners are Radio For The Blind & Handicapped, which is where the call letters came from. They operate at 88.3 MHz with a ERP of 51 kW.
The station was founded by Dr. Robert McLean, a blind mathematician. His dream was to have a full-time radio station that would provide programming to people with disabilites such as his. His dream became a reality in 1982and continues his mission today.
