Anaesthetic Equipment

General anaesthesia requires the following basic equipment to be fully functional, the anaesthetic machine tested daily (it is imperative that essential medical pipeline gas supplyeg. oxygen, nitrous oxide and air are secured firmly to the machine , readily available without any obstructions, defects or pressure leaks) and checked in-between cases (ensure the breathing apparatus and breathing circuit are fully patent) for the safe anaesthesia of patients:
