Vederala

A Vederala is a practitioner of traditional medicine (Ayurveda or Unani) in Sri Lanka, an ayurvedic physician. The term is derived from the Sanskrit vaid, meaning 'physician'. Vederala's pills or guli are traditional medicines rolled into pill form, generally of globular or oblong shape.
