Stock (cage)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A stock is a strong box or steel pipe cage, usually with an open top, in which a horse or other livestock animal can be held "stock still" for veterinary or other treatments. The animal is made to stand in the stock, which should be a close fit. The people treating the animal remain outside the stock for their safety.
