Quantum Xrroid Consciousness Interface is a bioresonance machine that was invented by former NASA Engineer Dr. William C. Nelson (1951- ). This device is very similar to the one used in electroacupuncture according to Voll. It is known by a number of names, including:
Supporters Supporters of the device believe by transmitting electromagnetic signals to the body, it checks for imbalances or imperfections in nutrients, toxins and allergens. They believe remedial electromagnetic waves may then be applied to counteract the destructive wave patterns. It is based on the principles of acupuncture, homeopathy, quantum physics, and electronics. It determines levels of "reactivity" to possible allergens, nutritional deficiencies/excesses, pathogens (viruses, bacteria, fungi), examines brainwaves, dental concerns, spinal subluxations and other related problems, hormone levels, energy levels, emotions that may be affecting a person's wellbeing (or lack thereof), organ stress, energy meridian balance and much more.In addition to finding weak areas of a person's health, the QX can also search for harmonious substances that have healing potential for someone. Homeopaths who use the machine call themselves "Quantum Biofeedback Therapists". As the machine's interface is easy to use and the report detailed, one can just be an operator of the machine and not necessarily a qualified homeopath.QXCI Programs include support for:Allergy DesensitizingMuscle/Sports InjuriesSpinal Flow AdjustmentCranial-SacralMeridian Therapy and Chakra BalancingElectronic ReflexologyColor and Crystal TherapiesSkin, Beauty, and Anti-Aging TherapiesWeight LossDetoxification
Detractors The website Quackwatch posted an analysis of the device by Stephen Barrett which concludes:
:The Quantum Xrroid device is claimed to balance "bio-energetic" forces that the scientific community does not recognize as real. It mainly reflects skin resistance (how easily low-voltage electric currents from the device pass through the skin), which is not related to the bodys health.''
