The Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) is a medical school currently admitting its first class of medical students scheduled to begin classes in the Fall of 2008. Based in Yakima, Washington the school's administration says admissions will be targeted towards students who show "a desire to practice in rural communities, particularly in the Northwest."Groundbreaking signals construction of Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences.
