National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) is a United States governmental institution that provides leadership and support for a comprehensive program of research related to the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities. It is subordinate of Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS)[http://www.ed.gov/about/offices/list/osers/aboutus.html], which in turn is a part of United States Department of Education. NIDRR's mission is to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities from birth through adulthood.
