Symptoms and signs
Symptoms include fever, headaches, tingling, pain or loss of feeling, and may extend to central or peripheral paresis and loss of bladder control. Meningeal signs may develop. Prognosis
Untreated myelitis may rapidly lead to a permanently damaged spinal cord.
