Magnetism (neurological sign)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Magnetism is a physical sign in neurology. It is chiefly demonstrated by patients with degenerative syndromes such as corticobasal degeneration (CBD). When the examiner's hand is placed close to that of the patient, then withdrawn or moved slowly from side to side, the patient's hand involuntarily follows that of the examiner.
