Immunization registry

An Immunization registry or Immunization Information System [http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/programs/iis/default.htm] is a tool to consolidate immunization records from multiple sources into one record. These systems can be used to forecast vaccine schedules perform reminder/recall mailings (upcoming/missed vaccine doses) and produce Pockets of need (PON)reports (low coverage rate areas).
