Gulf Medical College is based in Ajman. The college offers M.B.B.S and Bachelor of Physiotherapy programs. The main aim is to impart high quality medical education. This is the only medical school in the region, which offers admissions to both males and females of all nationalities. Mr Thumbay Moideen is the founder and President of this College established in 1998.Apart from the academic programs, Gulf Medical College Ajman is at the forefront of continuing medical education and continuing professional development programs. The college organizes international and regional conferences and symposia. The college also publishes a quarterly health magazine - GMC Health Journal, as part of its commitment to informative medical journalism. Gulf Medical College Ajman is promoted by Thumbay Group U.A.E. The group is professionally managed and has grown at a tremendous pace and is today a dynamic conglomerate with diverse interest, employing over 1000 people in its operations spreading across the globe.

The women's Health Centre, Hi-Tech Laboratory, Modern lCU & CCU Facilities, 24 hours pharmacy, Modem Digital Imaging, On call doctor service, Fertility centre, Emergency, Frequent visits from various doctors around the globe are some the various features and services offered by the hospital. The Gulf Medical College Hospital and Research Center, Ajman is a unique hospital, ideally located in the heart of Ajman with easy access to people from Sharjah, UAQ and RAK apart from the local residents of Ajman.
