About Fio

Fio is the only daughter of a wealthy Italian family. After she was born, her mother was unable to have any more children, making Fio the first heiress in the history of her family, as she had no older siblings. Throughout the generations, the Germi family has made a tradition of sending their eldest child into the military; Fio upholds this tradition willingly, though she has aspirations of becoming a doctor someday, having studied chiropractics, acupuncture, and moxibustion in college.[http://www.metalslug10th.com/english/character/fio.php]Fio is a master sergeant of the Intelligence Agency's S.P.A.R.R.O.W.S, which serves as a special forces group for the government. As with her comrades in Metal Slug 2 and beyond, she had risen through the ranks for her service against General Morden.Like Eri's, Fio's pistol appears to be a Webley Mk VI.

  • Fio is, along with Marco and one of the Mars People, one of the few characters from the series appearing in fighting games, first being a striker in The King of Fighters 99 and The King of Fighters 2000, and later as a playable character in The King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2''.
  • In King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2, one of her original costume palettes resembles Terry Bogard's clothing.
