Epilepsy Currents

Epilepsy Currents (ISSN 1535-7597), the official journal of the American Epilepsy Society (AES), was founded in 2001. The journal publishes commentaries on research articles of particular interest to epileptologists. Commentaries are authored by a distinguished board of contributing editors. In addition, the journal publishes brief topical reviews authored by experts. The journal is mailed to all AES members. Regular members of AES also receive the primary research journal Epilepsia, which is published by the International League Against Epilepsy. Epilepsy Currents intentionally does not publish original research so as not to compete with Epilepsia. All articles published in Epilepsy Currents are solicited by the editors.The founding senior editors of the journal are:
