CYSTHS

CYSTHS is a bone scan image pixel RGB quantification based bone scan uptake software program. CYSTHS automates the process of locating hot spots in a bone scan image. The source code for CYSTHS is closed and under copyright. CYSTHS began its software development cycle in 2005 and reached its general availability release in 2007. CYSTHS is the first software program available to medical offices that allows for the automation of cancer detection in a bone scan image as well as the creation of an universal problem area severity value. CYSTHS was created by Julia Silva and Alan Hshieh. Alan Hshieh is the main programmer of the CYSTHS code. CYSTHS is still actively developed and maintained by Julia Silva and Alan Hshieh. The software is not available to the general public, but is disseminated upon the request of radiology offices. The source code and concept of the CYSTHS program are copyrighted by both of the program's authors.
